*Raw GM Brad Maddox opened the show for the WWE Championship Summerslam match between John Cena & Daniel Bryan. Maddox asked Cena why he chose Bryan, and Cena said because of him. Brad said that he has a lot of problems and that Cena only chose him because he is certain he can beat him. Bryan came out and said that Maddox doesn't believe in him. He said that people like HBK, Rey Mysterio, and Eddie Guerrero have beat people bigger than them. Cena said that he picked Bryan because he earns and deserved it. Cena then signs the contract. Maddox then says that he is putting Bryan in multiple matches tonight!

-Mark Henry came out and said that he is proud he's from Texas and he's proud where he is from. He asked The Shield to come to ring and try what they did last week to do it again tonight. The Shield came out and and attacked Henry for some time until The Usos made the saved Henry from The Shield.

[After the Match, Big E Langston & AJ Lee attempted to attack Ziggler but Ziggler fought back and escaped]
*Miz TV with special guest Total Divas Cast - Eva Marie, Jo Jo Offerman, Natalya, The Bellas, and The Funkadactlys. Jerry Lawler then comes up and shakes Jojo's hand and offers a shake to Eva's hand and she says she doesn't like the way he's looking at her, and slaps Jerry in the face.
*Backstage Segment with Brad Maddox, Triple H, and Stephanie Mcmahon

*CM Punk came out and said simply that he isn't afraid of Brock Lesnar and issued a 1 on 1 match with him at Summerslam. He said that at Summerslam it will be the Best vs the Beast. He said that no matter how bad he roughed him up last week, he still got up and stood. Heyman appeared via satellite and said that the Beast is the Best, Punk said that he was tired of the via satellite and wanted Heyman to say it in his face so he could attack Heyman. Heyman then said that Lesnar was his one and only true best friend.

[All of the above was a Gauntlet Match, Cena came out and attacked Ryback and issued a Tables Match to Ryback for next week, then Maddox & Vince Mcmahon appeared backstage and Maddox made Kane vs Bryan for next weeks Raw and Bryan celebrated to end Raw]
*Big Show did not return as advertised he was supposed to*
