*The Shield kicked off Raw. They cut a promo on Evolution saying how they were once good in their prime but now it's The Shield's time to shine. Reigns says he is going to personally show them the concept of Payback individually. Evolution arrives backstage in a limo and The Shield comes and ambushes them until security & referees break it up to end the segment.
-Rob Van Dam df. Jack Swagger - Adam Rose & The Rosebuds helped provide the distraction and RVD partied with the Rosebuds after the match.
*Before this next match gets underway, Alicia Fox gets on the mic and cuts a promo on Paige saying she does not fit in with the rest of the Divas in the locker room. She then starts to attack Paige and tells the ref to ask Paige if she wants to wrestle and Paige says Yes as the match gets underway.

[After the Match, Alicia started freaking out on the people sitting at ringside and the commentators. She sprayed Soda on JBL, Cole, and Lawler, She screamed at fans and stole JBL's hat posing for the crowd in it]
*WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan came out and addressed the WWE Universe. He said this Thursday he is undergoing neck surgery. He said that he will come back soon and he will continue to overcome the crazy odds he has overcome in the past. He chants YES! as the segment.
-John Cena & The Usos df. The Wyatt Family
[After the Match, Bray gets on the mic and "Thanks" Cena for an unknown reason as the usual "DEH" scene cuts]
*Evolution comes out next to talk about The Shield. He says that he used to like The Shield when they worked for them but ever since Extreme Rules, he has lost all respect for them. He says if they want a rematch so bad then they will get it at Payback as they aim mostly towards Roman Reigns again. The Shield come out and attack Evolution again! Batista is furious and announces he will get a match with Reigns tonight.
-Nikki Bella df. Natalya - Total Divas cast was at ringside rating the match as it was going on. After the Match, Nattie flipped on Cameron and they all pushed Nattie away as Nikki stood tall and Nattie was upset.
-Sheamus df. Curtis Axel - After this Match, Ryback attacks Sheamus and demands that he faces him next!

*Stephanie Mcmahon comes out next. She goes on with her typical B+ Player puns towards Daniel Bryan. She says that she has something to say to him so she calls him out. Kane comes out dragging Bryans body on the stage. Kane leaves Bryans body there as Stephanie looks on in shock and doctors, trainers, Brie Bella, and referees come to Bryans aid. Doctors carry him on a stretcher to the back to end the segment.
*Backstage Segment with Daniel Bryan, Brie Bella, Stephanie Mcmahon, and doctors - Brie pushes Stephanie and tells her to stay away from them.
-Dolph Ziggler df. Fandango
[After the Match, Fandango tells Layla that he loves her and kisses her]
*"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan comes out to promote Legends House on the WWE Network. Lana interrupts him and says that USA was once a great country. Lana praises the Russian president Vladimir Putin and talks down hugely on America. Hacksaw gets a USA chant going on in Greenville, South Carolina. Lana calls Rusev to crush Hacksaw. Lana says that Hacksaw has one chance to be safe and thats to beg for mercy. Hacksaw denies to beg as she sends Rusev to crush him. Big E rushes out to save Hacksaw but ends up being on the other end of the attack as Rusev stands tall.

*Backstage Segment with The Wyatt Family
-Roman Reigns vs Batista ended in a No Contest when Evolution started an all out brawl with The Shield. As The Shield were gaining the upperhand, 11 superstars come out to attack The Shield. As HHH was grabbing a chair to hit Reigns, Reigns escaped and laid out HHH with a spear. Ambrose & Rollins attack the Superstars with chairs as well as they lay out Ryback with a triple powerbomb sending a message to Evolution.
