WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results! [7/4/14]

*HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY*

*Seth Rollins kicked off the show. He says that John Cena got lucky on Monday Night that he was unable to cash in the briefcase on him. He says that eventually Dean Ambrose will get tired of trying to stop every attempt. Ambrose then comes out and says that he will never get tired of stopping Rollins' attempts and will be there every time he tries to cash in. Ambrose then goes in the ring and the brawl is on between the two. Randy Orton comes in the mix and jumps Ambrose as well but out comes Roman Reigns to even the odds helping his former Shield member out. Triple H comes out and says tonights main event will be Ambrose vs Orton with Reigns banned from ringside and if he interferes he will be taken out of the Battleground Fatal 4 Way Championship match.

*Chris Jericho makes his return to Smackdown. He cuts a promo on the Wyatt Family and says he can play their game too. He says he can get crazy and twisted just like them. The Wyatts come on the titantron and cut a promo on him saying times have changed since he left. The Miz then comes out and says if he didn't do what he did on Raw, he would've helped him take out the Wyatts. Miz cuts a promo similar to the one on Raw about his money maker face but ends up getting a Codebreaker by Y2J to end the segment.

-Cesaro vs Big E did not happen. Cesaro attacked Big E before the match but Big E gets some shots in. Segment ends with the two being separated by referees.

-AJ Lee df. Eva Marie - Paige shook AJ's hand and congratulated her on her win.

*Damien Sandow comes out dressed as Bruce Springstein and cuts another cheesy promo. Rusev & Lana interrupt and cut their usual promo about Russia and the 4th of July holiday. Jack Swagger & Zeb Colter come out next. They cut their promo similar to the one on Raw and say Swagger wants to fight. They crack jokes on the duo and Russia leading to a USA Chant. Rusev and Lana back down from their challenge.

-Dean Ambrose df. Randy Orton via DQ when Rollins interfered and hit Ambrose with the briefcase multiple times. Roman Reigns came out to save Ambrose yet again laying Orton out with a Superman Punch leaving The former Shield standing tall to end Smackdown.
